Al Roker Visits Coldwater in Attempt to Break World Record!

‚ÄčThe Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to announce that NBC has selected Coldwater as it Michigan location for Al Roker to attempt to break a world record by broadcasting weather from all 50 states in less than one week!

The Chamber announced Thursday that Tibbits Opera House was the winner of the community vote to decide where Al should broadcast from!  Coldwater will be one of seven states he visits Tuesday, November 10th.  His estimated time of arrival is 1:00 - 1:30 PM.

Because we expect a large crowd, guests are invited to line the steps of the Tibbits Opera House tomorrow but are asked not to park in the Tibbits Plaza (across from Tibbits) and not to try to access Hanchett Street by vehicle.  Parking within walking distance is available behind Dean's Insurance, Taylor's Stationers, Broadway Grille, in front of CVS Pharmacy, and many other locations.  A portion of Hanchett Street will be closed for the broadcast.  Please refer to theattached map for parking options.
